About The Position
An engineering consulting firm with offices in Minnesota is hiring a Transportation Project Manager for its Duluth team. The role involves managing and designing transportation infrastructure projects, preparing project documents and permits, supporting proposal responses, mentoring junior staff, and maintaining client relationships. Remote work may be possible. Salary is commensurate with experience. Applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- At least 6 years of experience in mobility or transportation engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- MnDOT project experience.
- Project management experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Manage project planning, scoping, budgeting, and QA/QC.
- Design transportation infrastructure projects.
- Prepare details, specifications, bidding documents, technical reports, and regulatory permits.
- Work with the team to review and respond to project proposals.
- Mentor and train junior staff.
- Manage client relations, including virtual and in-person meetings.
