We safeguard billions of our customers’ assets, including critical business information, highly sensitive data, and invaluable cultural and historic artifacts. Iron Mountain helps lower cost and risk, comply with regulations, recover from disaster, and enable digital and sustainable solutions, whether in information management, digital transformation, secure storage and destruction, data center operations, cloud services, or art storage and logistics.

Requirements

  • Extensive procurement and category management experience supporting large-scale, multi-region logistics and commercial private fleets (Fortune 500-level preferred).
  • Mastery of fleet programs (leasing, maintenance, routing tech) combined with 3PL expertise (parcel, brokerage, intermodal, and international freight).
  • Strong negotiation skills with a track record of delivering sustainable, repeatable value.
  • Executive presence to present complex value-realization strategies to senior leadership.
  • Data-driven mindset familiar with fleet KPIs, DOT considerations, and transportation tools such as TMS, parcel analytics, and freight audit platforms.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

  • Professional certifications (CPSM, CIPS, CSCMP/SCPro) are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Structure and manage diverse commercial agreements, including MSAs, fuel mechanisms, rate structures, SLAs, and liability terms, ensuring all contracts reflect unique operational realities.
  • Own the supplier lifecycle for both carriers and fleet vendors. Use scorecards and QBRs to drive continuous improvement, standardization, and risk mitigation.
  • Analyze freight markets and fleet cost drivers (e.g., cost per mile, capacity trends, rate indices). Act as a subject matter expert for leadership on pricing, uptime, and innovation.
  • Collaborate with Fleet Operations, Finance, IT, and Safety to balance cost, service, and compliance across a global, multi-region network.
