About The Position
HNTB is seeking a Transportation Planning Intern for Summer 2027 in its Downtown Los Angeles office. Under close supervision, the intern assists departments with basic assignments in areas including science, planning, and technology. The role is described as usually being on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis. Relocation and housing are not provided, and visa sponsorship is not available.
Requirements
- Be enrolled in a related undergraduate or graduate program.
Nice To Haves
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Transportation Engineering, Urban & Regional Planning, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Interest in infrastructure and transportation.
Responsibilities
- Assist project team members with various support tasks.
- Conduct basic research and data collection.
- Maintain records, collections, and files related to specific projects.
- Assist in developing graphics, presentation materials, and reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
