Transportation Patient Engagement Specialist
About The Position

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent; or equivalent experience
- Valid, unrestricted driver's license
- Clean driving record for at least 3 years
- Must be committed to a drug-free lifestyle and responsible alcohol use
Nice To Haves
- 1-year prior experience working with Substance Abuse populations strongly preferred
- Crisis Intervention Training strongly preferred
- Personal passion or interest in substance abuse issues strongly preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain demonstration of values and mission statement
- Establish communication with patients and coworkers to improve quality of service and patient satisfaction
- Transport patients to the facility to designated areas in an efficient and timely manner
- Follow routing and scheduling instructions given by the Dispatch Manager
- Accompany patients inside the facility upon arrival and deliver communication to the Receptionist and Dispatch Manager regarding the drop off
- Offer comfort and support to patients and their families
- Respect and protect patient confidence and confidentiality by keeping all sensitive and patient information private
- Follow all protocols and procedures to ensure safe delivery of patients and their possessions
- Possess excellent driving capabilities
- Possess the ability to de-escalate situations
- Maintain a secure, clean, and healthy work environment
- Routinely comply with the standards set forth by HIPAA
- Work as a highly dependable, independent member of the treatment team
- Ability to maintain flexibility in work schedule
- Must be a committed team player willing to learn new skill sets
