The Transportation Outbound Strategy Manager is responsible for developing and governing enterprise outbound transportation strategies that improve service, on-time delivery, transportation cost, network capacity, driver utilization, and trailer utilization across the CVS Health distribution network. The role partners with Transportation, Distribution Center Operations, Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management, and Store Operations to identify and implement strategic initiatives that enhance network performance and support enterprise objectives. The manager serves as a subject matter expert in transportation optimization, routing strategy, transportation technology, and operational design while leading cross-functional efforts focused on continuous improvement and long-term network efficiency. The role leverages enterprise tools, including Trimble Appian and A.I. tools to enable scalable workflows, improve visibility, and drive consistent execution across the network. This role does not manage people but is required to establish and develop relationships, processes and partnerships. Role manages multiple projects and influences leaders, managers, and key stakeholders (internal & external). Role manages tight deadlines and production demands. Role is a key liaison across the business and Supply Chain.
