About The Position

Via Mobility is seeking a Transportation Operations Manager to ensure organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the transportation operations. This role involves working closely with the Directors of Operations to manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of operations services (Flex-Ride, and Via Paratransit services) and the Denver call center through improvements and coordination. This position has direct reports and offers a starting pay range of $80,000-$100,000. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM.

Requirements

Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED
Minimum of 3 years’ experience (within past 5 years) managing all aspects of Paratransit or Transportation services
Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience
Experience working with older adults, individuals with disabilities, persons with low income and/or limited mobility
Knowledge of the function, organization, and methods of operations of transit agencies and the basic laws and regulations underlying transit operations
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
Strong written and oral communication skills
Good decision making and problem-solving skills
Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule that may include occasional evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities

Ensure organizational effectiveness by providing leadership for the transportation operations of Via Mobility.

Improve each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.
