About The Position

The Transportation Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the Transportation Department staff, ensuring the highest level of professionalism and customer service. This role involves developing and maintaining department policies and procedures, ensuring vehicle maintenance, and resolving guest complaints. The manager will also work closely with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences and maintain a safe and compliant work environment.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills with demonstrated ability to hire, train, coach, and develop staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage positively with guests, employees, and vendors.
  • Proven customer service experience with a focus on creating memorable guest experiences.
  • Ability to handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts in a calm, professional, and effective manner.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety standards, and transportation operations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn property-specific systems.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as business needs dictate.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or management experience in transportation.
  • Demonstrated effective and diplomatic oral and written communication skills using English.
  • Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Driver License with a good driving record.

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business management, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Wear and maintain all uniforms properly, including nametag and gaming license.
  • Oversee/Manage all aspects of the Transportation Department staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Ensure all employees in the Transportation Department exhibit the highest level of professionalism and customer service.
  • Ensure all employees in the Transportation Department are knowledgeable and able to accurately answer all guest and visitor inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain department policies and procedures to ensure efficient operation and prioritization.
  • Ensure all vehicles are cleaned and maintained appropriately.
  • Resolve and respond to all guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with all customers and employees.
  • Inspect public access areas for cleanliness and appearance.
  • Work closely with Bellman to ensure guest luggage is handled appropriately.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, performing duties in compliance with safety procedures and reporting unsafe practices or conditions.
  • Perform all responsibilities in compliance with various federal and state regulations, including the Colorado Limited Gaming Act and regulations, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, and all internal policies and procedures.
