About The Position

Propark Mobility is seeking the best talent in the industry to strategically execute company-wide rapid growth. We are excited to be adding a new Transportation Manager to our Greater New Jersey Regional Team. As Transportation Manager, you will have knowledge and understanding of DOT Federal Regulations and registration processes. You will also have demonstrated knowledge of Federal, State, and local rules and regulations applicable to transportation. You will ensure compliance on a day-to-day basis with State, Federal and Company requirements. You will ensure a safe environment exists and that all maintenance and related activities are in conformance with company policies and regulatory requirements. You will maintain and submit monthly maintenance reports for all vehicles. You will schedule & supervise vehicle maintenance to ensure that work is completed to the highest standards. You will manage maintenance staff and work performed by outside vendors. You will also be responsible for driver evaluations, on the road shuttle training and classroom orientation/training.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven leadership in the hospitality and/or parking industries.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the transportation, bus, and/or passenger mobility services industry is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Commercial Drivers License with Passenger Endorsement (required)
  • Must be able to work in the Greater New Jersey area - Flexible with specific base location
  • Outstanding operational and financial acumen, and the ability to share and coach leaders in these areas.
  • Impeccable conversational and written communication skills to develop lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and staff.
  • Ability to plan and organize workloads by establishing priorities and respecting deadlines.
  • Sound judgement; good follow through and keen ability to prioritize.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with client focus and an ability to work with all staff levels.
  • Extensive travel throughout the region is required
  • Proficiency with computers, revenue control equipment, payroll systems, and the Microsoft Office suite.
