About The Position

WOONGJIN INC. is seeking a Transportation Logistics Operator to coordinate and schedule delivery appointments for major retail customers. This role involves communicating with customers, carriers, and internal teams, managing shipment status, resolving delivery issues, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
3– 6 years of experience in logistics, transportation and customer services preferred
Experience scheduling delivery appointments preferred
Familiarity with retail customer portals such as Walmart, Target, Costco, Amazon, Sam’s Club, or BJ’s
Experience working with carriers, customers, and internal teams
Ability to manage multiple shipments and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Fluent in English/Korean (1member), English/Spanish Bilingual (1member)
Excellent organization and time management
Attention to detail and accuracy
Shipment tracking and appointment scheduling
Problem solving and issue resolution
Strong follow up and multitasking abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

Coordinate and schedule delivery appointments for major retail customers, including Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, Costco, Amazon, and BJ’s.
Communicate with customers, carriers, internal transportation teams regarding shipments and delivery schedules.
Request, confirm, and update delivery appointments through customer portals.
Monitor shipment status and follow up on late, delayed, refused, or rescheduled deliveries.
Prepare and review appointment confirmations.
Track inbound and outbound shipments and provide customers with accurate ETAs.
Resolve delivery issues, appointment conflicts, shortages, damages, and other customer concerns.
Enter and maintain accurate shipment and customer information in the internal system.
Respond to customer emails and phone calls professionally and promptly.
Escalate urgent transportation or customer issues to the appropriate departments.
Maintain daily shipment reports, appointment schedules, and tracking spreadsheets.
Follow up with carriers to ensure appointments are met and deliveries are completed.
Build strong relationships with key customers and transportation partners.
Support the logistics team with daily operational tasks.
