About The Position

ITC Defense is seeking a Transportation Logistics Analyst, Junior to support Foreign Military Sales (FMS) logistics and transportation activities in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. This position supports transportation operations associated with the movement of material in support of international programs and mission requirements.

Requirements

  • Active Secret clearance, Interim Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and less than three (3) years of relevant experience in Foreign Military Sales (FMS), logistics, transportation, program management, acquisition, lifecycle management, technical or business analysis, or a related field.
  • Associate’s degree and at least four (4) years of relevant experience; OR At least six (6) years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for most positions.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Department of Defense, or U.S. Navy logistics or transportation operations.
  • Experience coordinating carriers and transportation activities across multiple modes of transportation.
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, or validating shipping and transportation documentation.
  • Familiarity with Global Priority Shipment (GPS) processes or similar shipment tracking and coordination activities.
  • Experience supporting NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) or similar Navy supply and logistics organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, verify, and review shipment documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable transportation requirements and regulations, identifying and resolving errors or discrepancies as needed.
  • Solicit, book, and coordinate transportation with carriers across multiple modes, including surface, air, contingency operations, and ground transportation.
  • Track shipment activity and maintain timely and accurate reporting throughout the transportation process through delivery to the destination country.
  • Maintain and distribute Global Priority Shipment (GPS) communications and emails to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Participate in and support daily GPS conference calls to communicate shipment status, transportation updates, and outstanding actions.
  • Provide transportation and logistics support to the NAVSUP WSS NOFX Transportation Management Specialist office.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, carriers, and transportation personnel to support shipment execution and resolve transportation-related issues.
  • Maintain accurate transportation records, documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
