The Transportation Lead is responsible for providing excellent guest service, positively affecting interactions with guests and team members. They must have the resiliency to deal with difficult guests in all types of business conditions and the ability to work harmoniously with coworkers, leading by example. This role involves providing lead supervision and training to Valet Attendants, ensuring courteous and prompt attention to guest requests or complaints, and greeting arriving and departing guests. The position requires parking and retrieving guest vehicles efficiently and safely, performing drive-and-park assignments, and promptly reporting any incidents to the Transportation Supervisor. The role also includes monitoring and assisting activities in all transportation-related areas, ensuring the auto detailing process is handled with quality and consistency, and performing all Transportation Supervisor duties in their absence. The Transportation Lead must enthusiastically support and promote superior guest service, ensure service standards are followed, and address issues as they arise. They are responsible for ensuring operations align with established policies and procedures, providing guidance and daily supervision to staff, and supporting operational goals. This position is required to work outside in various weather conditions and requires basic computer proficiency and effective communication skills. It is a very physical role requiring running, climbing stairs, reaching, grasping, and the ability to drive various types of vehicles. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
