Requirements
- Minimum of B.S. in Civil Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer required
- 10+ years of demonstrated experience in roadway design and plan preparation on transportation projects
- Experienced in using AutoCAD (and/or Microstation)
- Familiar with the Green Book and other key transportation-related guides and standards.
- Excellent writing and speaking skills are essential.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in design in accordance with state transportation agencies’ guidelines and procedures is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performing roadway and/or traffic design, and an ability to develop solutions for a range of transportation problems and needs.
- Coordinating with project staff, other disciplines, sub-consultants, clients, and reviewers to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
- Managing and maintaining project documentation, including meeting project schedules, budgets, and scope.
- Preparing study and design reports for clients.
- Interacting with internal project teams, state agencies, municipal review boards and clients.
- Assisting the firm in the preparation of proposals.
