About The Position
Kleinfelder is searching for an Entry-Level Transportation Engineer to join their Team in the Perrysburg, Ohio office. The position can be remote or hybrid. This role involves contributing to various aspects of transportation engineering projects under the supervision of experienced engineers, with a focus on design, planning, and administration.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
- Minimum of 0-3 years of related experience.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with MicroStation ORD and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus.
- Experience with the Ohio Department of Transportation a plus.
- EIT certification a plus.
- Live in Perrysburg surrounding Ohio area a plus.
- Construction experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Roadway geometric design, pavement design, Right-of-Way Plan preparation and regulation knowledge under supervision of an experienced engineer.
- Drainage and storm water design.
- Preparing project cost estimates.
- Construction Administration.
- Site Visits.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Pavement marking and signage design.
- Reviewing shop drawings
- Responding to request for information about projects.
