Join our established team of transportation engineering professionals and build a strong foundation in infrastructure design while working on diverse projects that range from local corridors to major regional connections. As a Transportation Engineer, EI/EIT you'll perform design and plan preparation for local and state transportation projects spanning geometric design, pavement rehabilitation, drainage, utility design, and traffic control. As you grow, you'll take on increasing responsibility supporting project managers, and mentoring junior staff, building technical expertise and leadership skills that set the foundation for long-term advancement in your engineering career.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET-accredited program required
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Engineer Intern registration
• 1 – 4 years of related roadway or transportation engineering experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MicroStation required
• Adaptable and self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset as well as a proactive approach to problem solving

Nice To Haves

• OpenRoads and AutoCAD are a plus

Responsibilities

• Support the development of engineering plans, geometric design, construction cost estimates, and other technical documentation under the supervision of a licensed engineer
• Participate in delivering professional transportation design services for a variety of clients
• Preparation of highway plans for state DOTs and local governments
• Engage with the transportation industry to identify marketing opportunities and build strategic business development relationships
