About The Position

Are you passionate about helping others and ensuring their safety? Join our team as a Transportation Driver! In this role, you will be responsible for transporting residents to and from their scheduled appointments and excursions. You'll also keep residents informed about their appointments and ensure they're ready on time.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
Valid and current driver's license.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Customer service-oriented attitude.
Ability to follow instructions and established routines.
Ability to perform routine heavy lifting and stand for long periods.
Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday, sit, crouch, lift, push, pull, balance, and operate and assemble durable medical equipment.
Professional and courteous attitude, abiding by the professional code of ethics and showing respect for others.

Responsibilities

Deliver accompanying paperwork (scripts, orders, follow-up information) to the appropriate personnel at appointments and upon return.
Ensure the safety of residents, employees, and the public.
Assist with managing the schedule appointment book and help Keep residents notified and aware of their appointments and times to be ready.
Assist residents into and out of vehicles and appointment locations to ensure they arrive at the correct destinations.
Interact with patients and customers of various ages in a pleasant and respectful manner
Work with nursing home administrators and staff to ensure compliance with service standards.
Be mindful of where the company vehicle is parked, considering the company logo displayed prominently on the vehicle.
