About The Position
DPS is hiring a dependable part-time driver to operate a scheduled evening transportation route serving the Fort Atkinson area. This role provides safe transportation for employees commuting to and from our client’s Fort Atkinson plant. The driver will operate a company-provided Ford Transit Van, picking up 2nd shift riders and dropping off 3rd shift riders across Watertown, Johnson Creek, Jefferson, and Fort Atkinson.
Requirements
- Clean or acceptable driving record required
- Comfortable driving at night
- Strong knowledge of local roadways (Watertown, Johnson Creek, Jefferson, Fort Atkinson)
Nice To Haves
- Prior professional driving experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Ford Transit passenger van
- Follow an assigned, structured nightly route
- Ensure timely pick-ups and drop-offs
- Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maintain professional communication with riders and DPS leadership
- Report any vehicle or safety concerns promptly
