About The Position

Bishop Spencer Place is seeking a qualified and career-minded Transportation Driver to join their team. This role involves transporting residents to various locations such as hospitals, doctor's offices, dialysis centers, private homes, social functions, and Bishop Spencer Place activities. The driver will ensure safe and professional transportation, maintain vehicles, complete required forms, and uphold a professional appearance and code of ethics.

Requirements

Less than 1 year of applicable experience.
Driver's License - Class E - Various

Ability to use maps accurately.

Responsibilities

Transporting residents in a safe and professional manner.
Works with dispatcher to coordinate transportation requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Communicates with dispatcher and fellow drivers to receive relevant data and instructions.
Maintain a professional behavior, and attitudes in regards to residents, staff, and visitors.
Completion of vehicle inspection prior to daily usage for safe and comfortable resident transportation.
Assist with transferring and balancing residents.
Caring for BSP vehicles - cleaning, washing and fueling.
Capable of understanding directions and the ability to use maps accurately.
Maintains a professional appearance.
Adheres to BSP uniform requirements.
Perform all duties as assigned.
