Join our team as a Transportation Driver and help individuals with developmental disabilities safely travel to work, day programs, appointments, and community activities. In this role, you'll do more than drive. You'll provide reliable transportation services that help people maintain their independence, participate in their communities, and reach important daily destinations.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely operate agency vehicles and meet Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Dependable, punctual, and committed to passenger safety.
Pass a DOT physical examination.
Pass required drug and alcohol screening.
Successfully complete a background check.
Meet all agency and regulatory driving requirements.

Responsibilities

Safely transport individuals to and from scheduled destinations using agency vehicles.
Follow assigned routes and schedules while maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service.
Assist passengers when entering and exiting vehicles as needed.
Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices according to safety procedures.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
Maintain accurate transportation records and required documentation.
Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, caregivers, and program staff.
Promote a respectful, welcoming, and positive experience for all passengers.
