As a Transportation Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities by ensuring they arrive safely to and from their homes, programs, and community activities. You will be part of a team that values safety, connection, and providing a positive daily experience for those we serve.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Safe driving record and commitment to safety
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Safely transport individuals to and from programs, appointments, and community activities
- Ensure all passengers are properly secured, including seatbelts and wheelchair tie-downs
- Maintain a clean, safe, and fully equipped vehicle
- Follow all safety procedures, policies, and protocols, including accident procedures
- Adhere to assigned routes and schedules consistently
- Build positive, respectful relationships with passengers, coworkers, and program teams
- Provide a comfortable and supportive transportation experience
- Operate either an Ability Beyond vehicle or personal vehicle, as needed
