About The Position
This position is responsible for overseeing the transportation services for individuals eligible for Medicaid transportation under the SCL and Michelle P. Waivers.
Requirements
- NO CDL REQUIRED
Responsibilities
- Provide safe transportation for assigned service recipients in busses, vans, and other approved vehicles
- Pickup participants during their allotted time
- Responsible for the upkeep of logs for mileage, oil, gas, and purposes of trips
- Make sure all participants are using a safety seat belt and all wheelchairs are locked in correctly
- Follow ALL traffic laws and parking regulations
- Maintain certifications and licensures as needed
- Maintain a driving record that is free of accidents, citations, or other incidents that may reduce insurability
- Prepare proper records in accordance with billing procedures
- Take care of maintenance of assigned vehicles with vehicle maintenance procedures
- Participate in team meetings and other committees as assigned
- Participate in training and self-improvement activities as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
