About The Position

We are currently seeking a reliable and friendly Driver to join our team and assist in providing excellent transportation services to our senior residents. As a Driver you will be responsible for safely transporting residents to medical appointments, outings, and other scheduled activities. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents while fostering a warm, and welcoming atmosphere. In addition to transportation, you will assist with setting up for activities, ensuring our residents enjoy a full range of experiences.

Requirements

• Valid Commercial Arizona Driver’s License with "P" endorsement (or ability to obtain prior to employment) and a clean driving record.
• A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact respectfully with seniors.
• Ability to lift and assist residents as needed, with the support of other team members.
• Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for weekends and evenings when needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience driving larger vehicles (e.g., passenger vans or buses) is preferrd but not required.
• Previous experience working with seniors is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, patient demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and other scheduled events.
• Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and ready for use at all times.
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, destinations, and any special needs.
• Assist with setting up and preparing for resident activities and events.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate transportation needs and schedule adjustments.
• Follow all safety and traffic regulations to ensure a smooth and secure journey.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff, providing excellent customer service.
