About The Position

The Transportation Drainage EIT will work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects. This includes taking responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, and the development of plans and construction estimates. The role also involves providing assistance with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications, and calculations, as well as developing H&H calculations, spreadsheets, and general drainage layouts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
• Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, familiarity and demonstrated experience with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3d
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Nice To Haves

• Must have or pass the FE exam within the year
• Open Channel Hydraulics
• Hydrologic Cycle and Ability to Model
• GIS
• Python
• 1D/2D Hydraulic Modeling
• Good Writing Skills
• Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects
