About The Position
VHB’s Atlanta, GA office is looking for a talented Transportation Designer to join our team in the Summer of 2027. This role involves working within a team of professionals to develop transportation design and solutions for a multitude of transportation and highway-related projects.
Requirements
- BS in Civil Engineering
- 0-1 years of professional transportation engineering experience
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work for VHB in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
Nice To Haves
- MicroStation, AutoCAD / Civil3D, InRoads, HyrdroCAD experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Highway design
- Drainage design
- Traffic control development
- Preliminary and final design plans
- Contract documents, including specifications
- Engineer’s construction cost estimates
