About The Position

ERG is a leading U.S. based, privately held, independent clinical research site company, and provider of clinical development services with expertise in early and late-stage neuroscience drug development. With 20 wholly owned clinical sites and 4 affiliated sites, we conduct in-patient and out-patient phase I-IV clinical research studies. ERG has 400+ in-patient beds, a large and growing database of patients suffering from mental illness, neurological disorders, sleep disorders, addictions, Acute and Chronic Pain, diabetes, and other illnesses as well as normal healthy volunteers who participate in trials for the advancement of medicine. With access to over 32 million patients/subjects and 5000 + completed trials, ERG continues to grow its capabilities and expand into indications where there are tremendous unmet medical needs in the United States and globally.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
A Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
Basic understanding of regulatory requirements, HIPAA, Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines.
Able to communicate with clients, providers, co-workers, sponsors, and others in a collaborative and courteous manner.
Knowledgeable in medical terminology to communicate with physician office and staff.
Excellent communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal)
Substantial concentration in various traffic and road conditions to remain alert and responsive despite potential distractions from passengers.
Good organizational and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail.
Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time
Basic computer skills to include Word, Excel, as well as proprietary applications unique to the clinical research industry (such as Study Manager)

Nice To Haves

EMT or BLS certified preferred

Responsibilities

In a safe and responsible manner transport potential subjects, established subjects, and various items as assigned.
Maintain principles of good customer service during all interactions with subjects.
Accurately complete and submit all necessary paperwork such as daily transportation sheets and credit card receipts.
Adhere to seat belt, cell phone use laws including texting, and ensure passengers comply as well.
Do not smoke in company vehicle and ensure passengers comply as well.
Keep company vehicle free from damage, in acceptable condition, and consistently clean.
Report any damage or mechanical malfunctions to the Site Director in a timely manner.
Work hours as required including overtime as needed.
Maintain a valid driver’s license.
Maintain an excellent driving record with no more than two violations on the employees driving record at any given time.
Required to work on holidays.
Assess dangerous scenarios and appropriately route to Site Director/Manager while problem solving.
