Responsibilities

Design and adjust school bus routes to prioritize student safety and time efficiency.
Serve as a liaison for special education transportation needs, ensuring all students receive required accommodations.
Assign drivers and vehicles to daily routes and extracurricular field trips, ensuring 100% schedule adherence.
Act as the primary bridge between parents, school administrators, and the transportation department to resolve inquiries and concerns.
Open the dispatch office, manage daily driver attendance, and provide leadership in the absence of the Director.
Handle complaints, service interruptions, and accidents with professional composure and a focus on prompt resolution.
Maintain accurate student transport records and utilize routing software to track performance.
Assist with driver training programs and monitor equipment needs to ensure fleet safety standards are met.
Maintain a positive attitude and remain flexible as district needs, schedules, and safety regulations evolve.
