About The Position
Erdman Anthony is a nationally recognized, award-winning engineering consulting firm specializing in transportation engineering services, construction services, facilities engineering and design services, civil engineering services, and geospatial services. They are seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector to complete inspection and documentation of a wide variety of construction activities by the contractor, ensuring all work is done in accordance with specifications. The role involves reviewing and interpreting contract and job specifications and maintaining daily paperwork according to client requirements. Requirements
- Perform math calculations
- Proficient computer skills
- Detail oriented
- A valid driver’s license is required
- 2 years minimum transportation, highway or bridge construction inspection experience or 4 years minimum of highway or bridge construction experience or Associates Degree or Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

Responsibilities
- Complete inspection and documentation of a wide variety of construction activities by the contractor confirming all work is being done in accordance with specifications.
- Review and interpret contract and job specifications
- Maintain daily paperwork in accordance with clients’ requirements
