About The Position

Northdale Oil is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Transportation Billing Administrator in Grand Forks. This position supports the company’s fuel and propane operations by ensuring transportation loads are accurately documented, priced, billed, and processed in a timely manner. The role involves transportation, billing, and inventory functions and requires effective communication with customers, suppliers, dispatchers, drivers, and internal teams.

Requirements

Prior billing experience or relevant education.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to identify discrepancies and follow through to resolution.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and contribute effectively as part of a team.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Willingness and ability to learn the company’s fuel, propane, transportation, and billing processes.

Basic knowledge of the fuel and/or propane industry.

Responsibilities

Process Bills of Lading and other delivery documentation through the accounting system.
Generate customer invoices for fuel and propane semi-load purchases.
Verify incoming supplier invoices for fuel and propane purchases.
Track multiple fuel and propane inventories on a monthly basis.
Scan, organize, and electronically file Bills of Lading and related documentation.
Collaborate with internal teams to verify pricing, quantities, and billing.
Review load documentation for accuracy and resolve discrepancies as needed.
Provide administrative support to transportation, fuel, and propane operations.
