About The Position

Toyota Material Handling is seeking a qualified candidate to join their team as a Transportation Analyst. This position will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations for inbound and outbound shipping. They will be working with various transportation companies and internal customers to ensure on-time deliveries.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Working knowledge of the different forms of transportation (intermodal and over the road)
Ability to work with customers and carriers via telephone
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of TMS

Nice To Haves

Certifications in Logistics related field preferred
Proficiency with SAP preferred

Responsibilities

Provide customer service support to internal and external customers
Gather data from carrier scorecard
Analyze and process freight damage claims
Support development of yearly budget for departments
Gather data for development of cost saving measures
Foster carrier relations with good communication and conflict resolution
Process freight and invoices
Support process improvement activity within the Transportation Department
Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Additional duties as assigned
