Transportation Analyst - Logistics
About The Position
This position is for a Transportation Analyst in the Project Management and Implementation space, focused on delivering technical and analytical results to support the Distribution technology roadmap and operational projects across Warehousing and Transportation. The role involves analyzing existing processes and systems, delivering projects and processes to end users and stakeholders, and leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction in transportation-related activities. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset, knowledge of Transportation and Supply Chain, passion for working with others, experience with project lifecycles, strong communication skills, and the ability to define business processes and relate them to technical functions. They should be a driven self-starter capable of working independently and facilitating coordinated efforts.
Requirements
- A Resume Is Required To Be Considered For This Role
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, and SharePoint
- Project management application experience (Jira, ADO, MS Project, etc.)
- Experience with AI Platforms (Claude, Co-Pilot, Gemini, etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communication to both internal leadership and third-party vendors/contractors providing statuses of systems and updates in new software research and overall project facilitation
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical team members
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge industry TMS systems, SAP, and/or Fleet Maintenance applications a bonus
Responsibilities
- Understanding current business strategies and roadmaps and evaluating existing or new technologies to address these needs
- Working with various Program Managers, Directors, and Sr Leadership to define and analyze business requirements and maintain various backlogs
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to build out project plans and timelines for introductions of new systems or processes
- Assisting project leads to ensure all project objectives are met and on time/budget
- Working alongside the training team to onboard users to new systems or incorporate new processes
- Informing and ensuring KPIs are defined and adhered to throughout the entirety of a program
