About The Position
If you're skilled at analyzing data, identifying trends, and implementing strategies for optimizing operations, then you could be a good fit for this Transportation Analyst position with W.B. Mason! We're hiring an analytical problem solver to join our office full-time and help refine our fleet management procedures. You'll track our equipment, oversee fleet movements, improve our strategies, and help increase revenue.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the transportation field
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent amount of work experience
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week
- Ability to work independently, coordinate with a team, and support multiple projects simultaneously
- Physical ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail

- Geotab fleet management software proficiency
Responsibilities
- Analyzing route schedules and service capabilities and making adjustments to maximize efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Reporting weekly and monthly metrics to support data-driven decision-making
- Collaborating with IT professionals to execute system enhancements
- Evaluating daily operations, reviewing customer service profiles, and identifying strategies for optimizing logistics and maximizing revenue
- Investigating recurring issues, identifying the source of deficiencies, and making strategic recommendations for improving operations
- Helping develop new quality and cost control policies
- Using Geotab to track equipment locations
- Handling other duties as needed
