We are looking for a Transportation Analyst to serve as the main point of contact for Transportation at the Railing Warehouse. As a Trex Transportation Analyst, you will be looked to as an innovator in the manufacturing process and expected to schedule inbound and outbound Trex-arranged freight. This role is a key member of our Transportation team.

Requirements

High school diploma
1-3 years of transportation/logistics experience
Previous experience as a Freight Analyst

Responsibilities

Lead and foster our “people first” culture.
Responsible for scheduling Inbound and Outbound Trex arranged freight, tracking, and awarding Railing Spot quotes, and helping to manage Railing RFP.
Works to improve carrier performance and development by creating KPI’s.
Gives feedback and recommendations to the Transportation Team based on carrier performance.
Work with ITS on any freight payment discrepancies and resolve these issues.
Create and improve Railing reporting to share with our Internal Trex Teams. This will include, but not be limited to, pick up and transit times, issues pertaining to customers, and any changes in carriers.
Responsible for updating the Fuel Surcharge Program weekly. This includes updating all wood, over-the-road, intermodal carriers, as well as internal teams and JDE.
Conduct monthly calls with Railing Carriers to discuss any issues, wins, or changes.
Crosstrain and support other areas of the business as needed.
