As a Transportation Airport Security Officer: Site Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic government transportation location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements
- 18+ Years of Age
- Valid Drivers License
- Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to an airport location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations and activities according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter access points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor access points and restricted areas, assist with direction and crowd management, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Support location operations during peak travel periods, weather events, and other operational disruptions by following post orders and communicating clearly with team members, visitors, and local authorities.
