About The Position
Family Service of RI (FSRI) is seeking candidates who want to make a positive impact on the community. The Transportation Aide will provide transportation for children and families to and from a coaching visitation program. This role will also assist program staff with coaching visitation and activities, provide administrative support, maintain program materials and supplies, and ensure the coaching visitation center is well-kept and family-friendly.
Requirements
- Desire to work with children and families.
- Able to work evening and weekend hours.
- Clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation with a minimum of three seats in addition to the driver's seat.
- Valid driver's license.
- Proof of automobile insurance, registration, and inspection.
- Ability to travel to and from community locations and agency sites.
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs.
- Ability to communicate effectively.

- Prior experience transporting children and families.
Responsibilities
- Provide transportation for children and families to and from the coaching visitation program.
- Assist program staff with coaching visitation and activities as needed.
- Provide administrative support to program staff.
- Maintain materials and supplies for the coaching visitation program.
- Ensure the coaching visitation center is well-kept and family friendly.
Benefits
- Bilingual/ASL skills are compensated by an additional 6%, above base pay.
- Multilingual skills are compensated by an additional 8%, above base pay.
