About The Position

This role is integral to ensuring the safe and comfortable transport of residents to various locations, while also supporting resident activities and providing general assistance. Requirements

• Current CPR and First Aid Certification
• Certified Nursing Assistant required (CNA)
• Requires a minimum of 1 year of experience providing care to the elderly population

Nice To Haves

• Geriatric Nursing Assistant preferred (GNA)

Responsibilities

• Assists in onboarding, securing, and offboarding residents for safe transport to various locations.
• May participate in resident assistance during outings, including transferring residents, toileting, hygiene, and eating.
• Assists with shopping tasks, such as reaching items on high shelves for wheelchair residents or moving food orders.
• Ensures provision and receipt of documentation relating to medical visits.
• Ensures protection of residents’ personal health information and confidentiality.
• Supports resident activities by escorting residents to and from activities and programs, and assisting with participation.
• May support transportation to/from on-site clinics, dialysis den, salon, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including possible floor assignments and assisting with evacuations and emergencies.
• Assist with orienting volunteers.
• Perform other related duties as required.
