About The Position

Shoreland Transport is currently seeking experienced Transport Truck Drivers for local, Nova Scotia–based routes. This role is ideal for professional drivers looking for steady, home‑daily work while operating safely and efficiently within the province.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 license (Nova Scotia)
• Criminal background check
• Verifiable driving experience
• Clean driving record and strong safety history
• Ability to perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections
• Dependable, punctual, and safety‑focused
• Strong communication skills – written and spoken
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience with refrigerated or food‑grade freight
• Familiarity with Nova Scotia local routes
• Strong customer‑service skills

Responsibilities

• Safely operate transport trucks on assigned local routes
