About The Position
The Transport Driver is responsible for bulk fuel deliveries, retrieving directions, and providing customer service and logistics support for fuel department deliveries throughout the geographic area. All routes are short haul, allowing drivers to sleep at home at night.
Requirements
- Class A License.
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
- Positive attitude and a strong focus on providing exceptional customer service.
- Comfort with the physical nature of the job and ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs.
- Clean commercial abstract in good standing.
- Proven track record of safe driving practices.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country where applying.
- Final candidates must undergo a confidential pre-employment background check, which may include educational, criminal, credit, drug and alcohol, and/or fitness-for-duty testing.
Responsibilities
- Deliver products safely and professionally while providing exceptional customer service.
- Load and deliver fuel while following Sunoco Safety standards.
- Ensure electronic and daily trip logs are up to date and submitted daily.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of TDG, WHMIS, and required training.
