About The Position

The Transport Driver is responsible for transporting finished goods from a Production Center or Distribution Center to other Distribution Centers. As with all of our drivers, the Transport is expected to fulfill the job duties in a professional, compliant, safe and timely manner. The shift is Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Transports Trailers from Ebensburg DC to Dubois DC with a company Truck.

Requirements

High School - GED diploma preferred.
1-3 general work experience preferred.
Ability to operate a 2/4 wheel dolly.
Ability to operate all types of industrial power trucks.
Familiar with DOT regulations.
Valid Class A and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

Responsible for driving and transporting finished goods from the production facility to warehousing facilities.
Transport finished goods or raw materials between facilities.
Load and unload goods using forklift or pallet jacks or connect or disconnect trailers at the destination.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, as well as verify load and seal numbers.
Maintain DOT time log, Bill of Lading, and other paperwork as required.
Maintain vehicle, product, and equipment to company standards.
Follow established check-in/ check-out processes for loads that are being hauled
Ensure driving habits are in line with LYTX system targets
Follow established company Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality procedures and policies.
Actively participate in Hazard Mitigation.
Complete assigned Heath & Safety trainings.
