About The Position

As a Transport Coordinator within Linfox's Government & Defence team, you will play a key role in coordinating subcontractor freight movements and ensuring seamless, compliant operations across the network. Requirements

• Operational awareness, attention to detail, and confidence coordinating logistics tasks
• Previous experience in a distribution or transport operations role
• Knowledge of interstate freight movements and transport compliance
• Experience using SAP TM/EM/LFP modules
• Proven ability to process high volumes while meeting strict deadlines
• Understanding of Defence security principles and ability to obtain/maintain Baseline clearance
• Demonstrated capability to analyse issues, identify risks and ensure accurate close-out
• Eligibility to obtain a minimum level of Baseline security clearance as determined by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA), which may include the ability to obtain Australian citizenship.
• Maintenance of this level of clearance at all times during employment in this position is an inherent requirement of the role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily freight movement requirements across W&D sites and Defence customers
• Cost and quote freight movements in line with contracted rates and policies
• Identify and escalate issues requiring immediate attention
• Ensure subcontractor compliance with COR, NHVR standards and Linfox requirements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across distribution processes
• Maintain accurate documentation, reporting and general administrative support
