About The Position

The RN Transplant Coordinator assesses patient and family needs, provides education, and coordinates the care required throughout the transplantation process. The Coordinator communicates all aspects of the plan of care with patients, families, members of the Transplant Team, other health care providers, and payers.

Requirements

• Three years of recent clinical experience.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Texas.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of patients and their families throughout the transplantation process.
• Provide education to patients and their families.
• Coordinate the care patients and families require throughout the transplantation process.
• Communicate all aspects of the plan of care with patients, families, the Transplant Team, other health care providers, and payers.
