About The Position

Join one of the most innovative and rapidly advancing fields in oncology as part of Wilmot Cancer Institute’s Stem Cell Transplant & Cellular Therapy (SCT & CT) Program. We are seeking a compassionate, highly organized RN to coordinate care for patients undergoing stem cell transplantation and cellular therapies, including CAR-T therapy. In this autonomous role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients and caregivers, providing education, symptom management triage, coordination of pre-transplant evaluations and donor processes, treatment planning, and long-term follow-up across inpatient and outpatient settings. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will help ensure seamless, patient-centered care throughout the transplant journey. Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of RN experience.
  • Strong clinical judgment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Hematology/Oncology and/or transplant experience is preferred.
  • BMTCN® or OCN® certification is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Provides expert, high-level knowledge of health care, technical skills, and analytical expertise in the care of patients undergoing transplants either BMT/CT or solid organ.
  • Responsible for coordination of the evaluation and preparation of patients for transplantation, cellular therapies, and long-term management of patients post-treatment.
  • Provides comprehensive coordination of patient care across multiple areas—the outpatient clinics, the inpatient nursing unit and the community—in order to provide continuity of patient care across settings.
  • Completes a workflow that has a significant level of complexity due to both clinical and logistical issues.
  • Applies appropriate interventions to individual patients and patient problems while performing daily tasks.
  • Serves as a clinical resource for other team members, patients/family/caregivers, referring case managers, and community clinicians.
