About The Position

Under the direction of the Department Manager of the Renal Center and Renal Transplant Medical Director, the Transplant Coordinator provides professional direct and indirect multi-problem nursing care for a selected population of transplant candidates, recipients, and living donors. Requirements

  • Graduate of a school of nursing, or current enrollment in an accelerated program leading to a BSN or MSN degree.
  • California Registered Nurse License
  • 1 year Nursing experience

Nice To Haves

  • Certification CCTC or CCTN through the American Board of Transplant Coordinators
  • 1 year organ transplant or procurement experience.
  • Knowledge and abilities of Staff RN II category; advanced nursing theory and practice in the area of transplantation in particular.
