About The Position

Kidney Transplant Coordinator, Registered Nurse. Together we can help build a stronger community through the healthcare we offer. This role provides growth in clinical knowledge through research-based practice with peers. This position is responsible for the ongoing training of new staff and keeping up to date with the regulatory changes in UNOS and CMS.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in nursing and three years experience as a registered nurse
• Current South Carolina Registered Nurse licensure or compact state is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) is required
• Transplant nursing experience preferred.
• An ability to establish cooperative working relationships with diverse groups and individuals, medical staff and other health care disciplines.
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a wide range of groups and individuals.
• Highly developed analytic skills, interpersonal skills and organization skills.
• Must have emotional/mental ability to perform effectively and efficiently under pressure and during stressful or emergency situations.
• Must maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and confidentiality.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Clinical Transplant Coordinator (CCTC) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and uses advanced clinical management, consultation, education and research to promote quality care for the specific transplant patient populations.
• Responsible for the ongoing training of new staff and keeping up to date with the regulatory changes in UNOS and CMS.
