About The Position
The role of this individual will be to round on both inpatient/outpatient individuals. They are to service/troubleshoot devices both inpatient and in clinic. They are considered SMEs. They NEED to have appropriate knowledge of the devices and feel comfortable with them.
Requirements
- Two years of work experience as a registered nurse.
- Durable MCS (HM 3, Heartware, BrioVAD), IABP, Impella Devices experience.
- VAD coordinator experience.
- Strong cardiac background.
- South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License in hand.
- BLS certification.
- Ability to service/troubleshoot devices inpatient and in clinic.
- Appropriate knowledge of devices and comfort with them.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 1 year clinical work experience in managing advanced heart failure patients.
- 1 year CTICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Round on both inpatient/outpatient individuals.
- Service/troubleshoot devices both inpatient and in clinic.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for devices.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs.
