The Transnational Education Development Manager (China) plays a pivotal role in advancing Monash University’s international strategy across China and the broader Greater China region, including Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau. Working at the intersection of strategy, partnerships and global engagement, this position drives the development of transnational education opportunities, strengthens strategic relationships and delivers initiatives that enhance Monash’s global profile, expand its international footprint and support sustainable growth. This position will be responsible for contributing to identifying and developing new transnational education opportunities, building and managing strategic partnerships, and delivering projects that support Monash’s international objectives across China. Working closely with senior University leaders and external stakeholders, the role will prepare high-quality briefings, reports and strategic advice, provide market intelligence and competitor insights, and contribute to the development and implementation of country strategies. The successful candidate will lead stakeholder engagement activities, support the growth of existing and emerging partnerships, evaluate collaborative opportunities to ensure alignment with University priorities, and manage complex projects from planning through to delivery. The role will also proactively identify and mitigate risks while contributing to initiatives that strengthen Monash’s reputation, competitiveness and long-term success in the region.
