About The Position

The Project Officer, Transnational Education (TNE) provides project leadership and operational oversight to ensure the effective development and delivery of transnational education initiatives. This position is crucial to drive the successful execution of high priority, complex strategic initiatives. Reporting to the Director, Relationship Enrolment and Programs, the role is accountable for assigned projects across all phases of the project lifecycle, including but not limited to establishing and maintaining structured project management frameworks, governance processes, documentation standards, and performance tracking mechanisms across the TNE portfolio. Working in close partnership with Program Managers and the Director, the role advances strategic projects in priority markets, and is responsible for ensuring strategic initiatives are implemented by exercising independent judgment in managing timelines, monitoring risk, identifying performance gaps, identifying required decision points and decision makers and escalating issues requiring strategic intervention. The role identifies areas where University policies, procedures or systems need to be adapted to meet the context of operating in a global environment and works with the Director to create solutions.
