PSEG is not offering visa sponsorship for this position. Job Summary At this time, only current PSEG employees are being considered. Supervise and guide the on-shift operation of the Bulk Electric System during normal and emergency conditions. Perform day-ahead reliability analysis and load forecasting. Provide leadership and direction to the System Operators to ensure the system is operated in a safe, reliable, and efficient manner. Follow procedures to ensure PSE&G maintains compliance with FERC, NERC, PJM and RFC Mandatory Standards. Analyze disturbances on the Bulk Electric System to determine proper corrective action and determine if NERC, DOE, RFC, and PJM reporting is required. The consequence of non-compliance with a NERC Reliability Standard is NERC fines of up to $1 Million per day. Maintain and apply knowledge of PSEG Standards for Business Controls and meet management’s expectations for effective internal business controls, integrity and corporate policies. Evaluate and prepare performance partnerships for Transmission System Operators, Senior Transmission System Operators and Transmission System Planners. Demonstrated ability to motivate, instruct, lead, train and assist associates and customers. Establish a sense of urgency to complete tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
