About The Position

Dominion Energy is seeking a Transmission Strategic Projects Advisor to provide strategic and commercial advisory support for complex Electric Transmission initiatives. The primary focus will be on the Valley Link joint venture, a multi-company partnership with significant regulatory, financial, and governance complexity. This role supports joint venture coordination and advancement of strategic transmission opportunities through cross-functional collaboration, emphasizing governance alignment, regulatory coordination, and integration of key workstreams across partner companies. The Advisor will consolidate input from subject matter experts, translate it into clear, decision-ready analyses and materials (including business cases, alternatives analyses, strategic recommendations, leadership presentations, and performance metrics), and ensure effective internal and external communications. The role also supports governance refinement by clarifying roles, responsibilities, and processes, and performs strategic analyses to identify risks, interdependencies, and process improvement opportunities. Additionally, the Advisor ensures Dominion Energy managed processes are coordinated and elevated to the Valley Link Project Management Lead for alignment, accountability, and successful delivery. The role may have Non-Dominion Energy Workers (NDEWs) report to them.

Requirements

  • 8+ years directly related experience in engineering, project management, joint ventures, business development and relevant technologies in the assigned project area.
  • Expert knowledge and job specific applications of engineering, project management and/or business development / administration.

Responsibilities
