About The Position

ReNuke Services is seeking two Transmission Project Managers for our client's site in Cincinnati, OH. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days/week in office/field. Field visits will be required across the Midwest territory, with all travel being day travel. The Transmission Project Manager is responsible for managing the scope, schedule, and budget for a portfolio of projects assigned to them. These projects can range in complexity and budget from $100k to $25M and may include new line construction, line rebuilds, new substation construction, transformer replacements, switchgear replacements, or a combination of these. The Project Manager will receive projects from Development and introduce them to the project team of Stakeholders, managing the progress of their tasks throughout the project lifecycle. The Project Manager will track, manage, and report project finances with support from the Project Controls team. Occasional site visits will be required when support is needed in the field. The Project Manager must comply with all OSHA regulations, including proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as fire-retardant clothing, hardhats, EH-rated boots, and protective eyewear. This position is typically retained to manage multiple White or Green I projects per the Project Management Center of Excellence Project Profile Matrix.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience.
  • Graduation from a two-year college or university.
  • Working knowledge of project management principles.
  • Working Knowledge to Proficiency in Project Management, Decision Making, Critical Thinking, and Problem Solving.
  • Project related work experience.

  • Proven Collaborative Team Member.

Nice To Haves

  • Graduation from a four-year college or university.
  • Utility Technical Certifications/Training.
  • PMI (PMP or CAPM) Certification.
  • CMII certificates.
  • Professional Engineer License.
  • Working knowledge to proficiency in project related Scheduling/ Cost Controls.
  • Experience in utility industry.
  • Knowledge in construction management.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the scope, schedule, and budget for a portfolio of projects.
  • Receiving projects from Development and introducing them to the project team of Stakeholders.
  • Managing the progress of Stakeholder's tasks throughout the life cycle of the project.
  • Tracking, managing, and reporting project finances with support from the Project Controls team.
  • Making occasional site visits when support is needed in the field.
  • Complying with all OSHA regulations including proper PPE.
