About The Position

Crawford – Transmission Pod 223 Disassembly. There are a variety of tasks this position completes, including operation of basic hand tools and the detailed cleaning of parts using solvents, brushes, and scrapers. First, the associate must verify the tag of the BOM matches the unit (core) provided. Following this step, the associate will start the disassembly process by removing bolts, seals, etc. from the outside of the unit. Then will continue by removing the oil pan of the unit, uncovering the internal parts. Next is the removal of the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, clutch packs, etc. Following this step, associates must clean parts using solvent, place parts in baskets, and send through a washer.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours).
  • Ability to use handheld tools such as Impacts, Pneumatic Drills, Hammers etc.

Responsibilities
