This position involves a variety of tasks including operating basic hand tools and detailed cleaning of parts using solvents, brushes, and scrapers. The associate will verify the Bill of Materials (BOM) tag matches the unit (core) provided, then proceed with the disassembly process by removing external components like bolts and seals. This is followed by removing the oil pan to access internal parts, and subsequently removing the valve body, pump(s), wiring harness, clutch packs, and other internal components. After disassembly, parts must be cleaned using solvent, placed in baskets, and sent through a washer.
